A young athlete from our Athletic Development Program won 1st place at the 2019 Victoria Day Super Series this long weekend! The annual figure skating competition took place at the Fleetwood Arena in Surrey. Luka performed a very strong routine and landed two clean double axels.
Her mom said “I saw her finally smile again after a long time, after a hard last season. She is so happy to have accomplished this!”

Luka trains at our Port Coquitlam CrossFit gym to help her build the strength and stability she needs to perform all of the very challenging jumps and spins required of her to be competitive in her age group.
Luka is very driven and works hard on and off the ice. She is dedicated to her sport and wants to represent Canada at an international level one day!
