About Jeff DoyleHi my name is Jeff and I’m the co-owner of Function Health Club as well as a personal fitness trainer. I became a trainer because fitness has always been a big part of my life. I grew up playing soccer for rep teams which led me to receiving a scholarship to play varsity soccer and study human kinetics at Trinity Western University. Upon completion of my degree I began working as a personal trainer and absolutely loved using my knowledge and skills to empower others to live a higher quality of life. I continue training to this day because it gives me a sense of purpose and satisfaction everyday. [···]

About Marcela BaylyThey say you should do what you love. If that’s the case, then I am definitely in the right profession! I believe exercise is for everyone, and finding an exercise program that you love is critical. My favourite part about being a personal trainer is motivating those who believe they can't exercise and seeing them transform into confident, inspiring individuals who strive everyday to be stronger and healthier. Hard work and determination have gotten me to where I am now and I will continue to embody these traits as I further my own training and education to stay on top of the latest research in health and fitness to help you reach your goals Outside of training clients I enjoy Crossfit , indoor cycling and spending time with my family and friends.
BCRPA Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition Specialist
About Valentina PalamosHi, I’m Valentina. I am BCRPA Certified as a Personal Trainer and I also have a Sports Nutrition Specialist Certificate that I received from Nutraphoria the School of Holistic Nutrition. Life is a balance and the food we eat is just as important as the work we put in at the gym! I strongly believe the journey to health and wellness starts from within. Personal strength and growth comes from growth in the mind, body and soul. There are a million reasons to get fit and stay active. I want to ensure every client that I work with feels empowered, and starts their journey to personal growth in a positive environment with the right tools to succeed. I enjoy staying active by practicing Yoga, Pilates, strength training, boxing, hiking, swimming and chasing around my two year old!
BCRPA Personal Trainer
About Norma SheaneHaving played soccer from a very young age, I quickly fell in love with a lifestyle revolving around health and fitness. Growing up I followed that passion and continued playing soccer at the university level. The leadership skills I developed along the way landed me the role of Team Captain in my final seasons. This allowed me to continue practicing my leadership skills, as well as giving me the opportunity to lead by example while still being a part of a team. Now having finished my university career I still play soccer however, I am now expanding my horizons in the realm of fitness and always looking to try new ways of being active. With my personal training clients I continue to let my leadership skills shine through but I also like to think of my clients and I as a team that works together to help them reach, and surpass, their fitness goals. We are in this together, so let's get moving!
NSCA Personal Trainer
About Sean SealeMy name is Sean, I'm a father, husband and coach dedicated to help people live better lives through strength training and education. I believe that patience and consistency are the two pillars that will lead you to achieving the goals you set for yourself. Exercise is only a part of the equation: other lifestyle factors like sleep, stress levels and nutrition will have a significant effect on how you respond to training and need to be addressed accordingly. I don't believe in running you into the ground day in and day out. I help you build a base of sound movement, practical strength and knowledge so that you can live a long and healthy life. If you want to look good and feel good without having to train like an Olympian, I can help you with that.
