On June 25th, 2025, the energy inside BC Place was electric—not for a professional sports match, but for one of Vancouver’s most spirited and community-driven events: the Vancouver Board of Trade (GVBOT) Corporate Cup.

This unique event brought together dozens of companies, hundreds of players, and an atmosphere filled with competition, camaraderie, and connection. It was a celebration of teamwork—not just within organizations, but across the entire Vancouver business community. And Function Health Club was proud to be at the heart of it all.
As leaders in athlete development and human performance, Function Health Club was honoured to lead the official warm-up for all the players on the field at BC Place. Guided by our very own Morgan Hodge, a nationally recognized performance coach and co-owner of Function Health, our team set the tone with dynamic, movement-based prep designed to activate the body, sharpen focus, and reduce risk of injury for the day ahead.
But our work didn’t stop there.
Throughout the day, Function was on-site providing movement support, recovery guidance, and motivation for the players as they gave it their all in challenges ranging from soccer and tug-of-war to obstacle courses and ultimate frisbee. Whether someone was a seasoned athlete or just out to have fun, we made sure everyone felt empowered, energized, and included.
Investing in Community and Performance
At Function Health Club, we believe athletic development isn’t just for elite athletes—it’s a foundation for confidence, resilience, and success in every area of life. Our involvement in events like the GVBOT Corporate Cup is an extension of our mission: to help people move better, live stronger, and perform at their peak—whether in sport, in business, or in everyday life.
Celebrating the GVBOT Community
A huge thank you to the Vancouver Board of Trade for organizing another incredible Corporate Cup. Their dedication to building a stronger, more connected business community in Vancouver is inspiring, and events like this showcase exactly why GVBOT is such a vital part of our city’s ecosystem.
We left BC Place feeling grateful, proud, and motivated—because when businesses come together like this, everyone wins.
See you next year on the field!
